About The Process
All of our yarns are dyed in small batches of three skeins each. Due to the nature of the process, each skein is unique and each batch will vary in saturation and speckles. This uniqueness is what makes hand dyed yarn so wonderful! Sometimes the pots yield one of a kind colorways so the shop will always offer surprises! I approach the dye pots as an artist, although I follow recipes the results can be unpredictable. Please keep in mind that each skein is truly unique! Also please be aware that computer monitors can vary greatly.
It is recommended to hand wash in cold water and lay flat to dry. All the yarns are dyed and rinsed thoroughly but some light bleeding may occur during the first few washes.
All of our yarns are rinsed in a lavender wash.
The yarns are ethically sourced from South America and are mulesing-free.
We do not offer ball winding services at this time.
